Annual Jr. High Field Day 2010
We had a great 2nd annual Jr. High Field Day this year on Saturday, October 2. Lots of games and flag football… and great food! Thank you to our PTA and Deacon Elaine Cooke. Next year, we’ll win!
LiNK (Liberty in North Korea)
LiNK will come and do a special screening of a documentary about North Korean refugees on Sunday, October 24th at 12:30-2:00 PM Please join us in our youth worship room and learn about what you can do for North Korean refugees.
Operation Christmas Child - November 14, 2010
We will be sending gifts to children around the world again. Please take a look at the enclosed brochure and prepare a gift for a needy child. Gift boxes are due November 14, 2010 (Sunday)

Missions/Community Service Project – MISSION OF HOPE
We are partnering with a missions organization in Haiti called Mission of Hope. We are making friendship bracelets to send along with letters to the children in Haiti. These children are in the orphanage, school or hospital at this ministry. We are gathering monetary gifts to send along with these handmade bracelets to the children.
Important Sunday Items:
-Bible, Notebook/Journal, Student’s Guide to the Bible
-Schedules: Sunday Worship begins promptly at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m. Bible study is from 12:30-1:15 pm. Please wait for your child and refrain from calling their cell phones until 1:15 pm.
-Offering Envelopes: We have special offering envelopes available for each student. Please look for the square blue envelope in the box outside of the worship room. Please prepare your offering before entering worship.

1. Welcome to Palisades Church’s Lord’s Day Worship Service! If you are new today, we welcome you in the name of Jesus!
2. TODAY - We have regular Bible study today until 1:15 PM.
3. THIS FRIDAY, April 16 is Praise Night Practice. We will finish recording our “Imma Be” song and will film our music video
4. SATURDAY, April 17 – Depending on our progress on Friday Night, we will meet on Saturday from 9 AM-1 PM at a location away from church(Times are subject to change) to complete our music video filming. We will also be at church from 1 PM-4 PM to work on our Mission of Hope – Haiti Bracelet fundraiser.
5. Praise Night is coming up on 4/23. Please take 2-3 postcards to give to your friends inviting them to come.
6. Honduras Missions for July is accepting applications. Pastor Bob Koo will be leading the team of students for Honduras Mission. Open to graduating 8th graders and 6th/7th if parents are going as well. Please apply soon!
7. Haiti Fundraiser. We will be fundraising for Mission of Hope in Haiti by making bracelets for the children in Haiti. Please pick up supplies today in Room 104 after Bible study.
