What are you a slave to?
How do you determine that?
What do your actions say?
Are you a slave to anger when you allow your anger to control your actions?
Are you a slave to greed when you allow your greed to drive all that you do? (ex: I want lots of money, that's why I study)
Are you a slave to humor when you try to make everything into a joke?
One place in India is being praised for putting emphasis on the Gross National HAPPINESS rather than the Gross National Product (how much money a country has)
But, as I heard that I realized... then they are a slave to happiness and really - we can't be happy all the time - that's not what life is all about..
Paul even spoke about it. There are times of suffering and even in the midst of that suffering there is hope and JOY!
Be a slave to righteousness... The word Paul uses to describe himself when he uses the word "servant" actually meas "slave".
Think about it...
